Whether you chit (sprout) your potatoes is up to you. Make a trench.Earlies: plant 30 cms apartMaincrops: plant 38 cms apartCover with fine soil then replace earth carefully. Make a low ridge.
How/When To Harvesting
With Earlies, wait until the flowers open or the buds drop. Insert a fork into the ridge, well away from the haul and lift the roots forward into the trench.With Maincrops, lift the roots and let the potatoes dry for a few hours. Place them in a wooden box and store in a dark, frost-free place.Make sure to remove all potatoes from the soil to avoid problems next year.
