A lettuce that produces an open centre.

How To Grow

Can be sown indoors or outside. For indoors start sowing in January and plantout from April, cover the young plants if frosts are likely. Outdoors sowing from February under cover, make a drill 1cm deep sprinkle the seeds thinly and cover with soil. As the seedlings grow thin out to 30cm apart, use the thinings to transplant elsewhere. Water well after transplanting. Sow a little and often to keep the crop coming all season.
